Bonefish Action Heats Up
July 25th, 2009During the past week, we have had some outstanding Bonefishing on the backcountry flats near Key West and the Lower Keys. The weather has straightened out and is now predominantly out of the east, which provides for good, consistent fishing on the flats.
All in all, the 2009 Tarpon season will go down as one that was great from April to Mid-May, followed by an outstanding worm hatch, then alot of West Winds and low pressure that made the fishing very challenging indeed. We are looking forward to Grand Slam season this summer!!!
